A Double Gift of Kindness 💕🧸

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Wendy and Mackenzie to visit us at Maddi’s Butterflies — and what a special visit it was! 🦋💜

To celebrate Mackenzie reaching an incredible 10 years cancer-free, they very kindly donated a giant teddy bear to our charity. 🧸🎉

Our journey with Mackenzie began when he was just five years old, when we were able to support him by giving him a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Fast forward 13 years, and he is now an amazing 18 years old! 💙

Wendy has continued to support Maddi’s Butterflies throughout the years, including helping with our annual Pyjama Appeal and regularly collecting pre-loved donations for our charity shop in Prestwich. We are incredibly grateful for her continued support. 🥰

Wendy decided to organise a Name the Bear competition, raising a fantastic £122.00 for Maddi’s Butterflies! 🎉

And then came the most wonderful surprise… the lucky winner of the bear kindly decided to donate it straight back to us! 🧸💜

So, thanks to Wendy and the kind-hearted winner, we received a double gift of kindness — money raised for our charity and a beautiful giant teddy bear that we can use to help bring smiles to others. 🦋✨
